Family, values and history
The campsite was founded in 1978, at that time it was just a lawn with very few services but with a lot of heart and dreams to fulfill it.
About 20 years ago, Maura and I - Claudio - fell in love with this camping just a few kilometers from Como. At that time we worked really hard and spent very few time with our children.
Precisely for this reason we have seen in this campsite the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of working outdoors, but moreover, to be in contact with our children and see them grow in harmony with nature.
And so, without any experience, but thanks to our passion and energy, in 2002 the adventure of the Passarini's family began. A signature for the camping dream deal and we started our business: a Family Camping just few steps from the Como Lake.
Ours is a real mission: from the beggining we tried to make this campsite every year a better place. In fact, thanks to the many investments and hard work, the campsite today has a totally different look than it did 20 years ago.

We are a close-knit family who put body and soul into what we do and, just like a real family, we look after all of our customers.
We aim to make the guests of Camping Montorfano spend an unforgettable holiday, not because of the luxury or the top-of-the-range services offered, but for the best moments spent close to loved ones, to feel at home and to enjoy the connection with nature.
Times are increasingly frantic nowadays and the generational change is essential to meet our guests' demands. That's why our “boys”, Matteo and Alessio, took over the reins of the campsite, always with our help. Their gaze is directed to the new trends and their desire is to make each of our guests live the most exciting experiences.
